Zhao Chang Chinese Painting Print – Grass Butterflies

This Grass Butterflies print by Zhao Chang is modest in size of gesture, generous in effect. The image stays interesting long after the novelty fades. It has presence without demanding the spotlight. There is a softness to it that balances hard modern lines.

The print comes unmounted, with no frame or scroll included, leaving the presentation entirely up to you. You can sense the brush slowing down around the flowers. Handscroll is the emotional center of the composition. The fine detailing is drawn with economy, every stroke earning its place. It belongs to a long line of pictures painted as much for meaning as for looks.

Hang it where the morning light hits and it becomes Chinese art gift for collectors at its best. As a piece of Chinese art gift for collectors, it adds a layer of meaning most wall art skips. All in all, this Grass Butterflies print is the kind of piece you will still be glad to see on the wall years from now.
